Waiting for character to create

Hey so tonight i died about an hour before restart and tried to come back in and got stuck at "waiting for character to create". Tried verifying game integrity, reinstalling BattleEye, running manually thru steam, redownloading mods, but no luck. Any ideas?

I also am having the same problem as too is Stonerman.
I'm just browsing the interweb for a solution now.

I haven't been able to get past the Wait for Host screen for months, but I try again every once in a while.  I can get on other servers tho

We changed the server IP a while back. I had the wrong address listed on the forum. This is the current one:

208.115.200.30:2302


 Most people have been just searching it on DayZ launcher, which seems to be the most compatible launcher for the server.

Others have been able to get in after re-validating their files.

You can also try putting the following string in your launch parameter field under settings:

        -mod=@DayZ_Epoch;
