New Mission System
« on: June 24, 2015, 12:15:08 PM »
Well my people, I have been working on a new custom AI mission system for a while now and installed some elements of it this morning. One thing different is that the new secondary mission colors are on a different system, red, yellow and green, according to difficulty. These missions also have a new loot system and more spawn vehicles. I am still working on the replacement for the red team missions as of now. The red markers for these missions will be replaced with a black marker, and will be custom tailored to their spawn locations when I am through.

There is a new system for the roaming vehicle AI too. One of the major differences is that the AI will get out of the vehicle and attack as usual, but will get back in their vehicle and drive away when they lose aggro. Also, the vehicle AI will be equipted with a mounted PKP pickup truck now to spice things up a bit. These guys are entertaining, hope you enjoy. :)

No, they still have UAZs, just PKP pickups in addition. The drive away-action should make Stary a little less dangerous as well.

Or a whole lot more fun and challenging!    :o

Sounds very interesting. I'll be on tonight to check it out. Sorry for the abrupt absence but I needed a small break from DayZ in general. See ya all in game.

One thing I have noticed today not sure if it was meant to or it was just 'coincidence' but Stavia and I headed for the coast, we were in Elektro,  stopped to lose the ai Mi17 chasing us, not only did we not lose it but a uaz started patrolling trying to find us as well, after a minute of patrolling the uaz drove off - the heli did not and kept circling. i had to suicide to get the heli to finally leave the area

Could be, but I am confused as to why the Mi17 still pursued us after we did the stop vehicle, get out and lay prone on ground an not move. Usually it works but for whatever reason this time didn't. It was all good I didn't have far to travel to do corpse recovery LoL
