AI in Helicopters are becoming a problem

I don't want to complain but today I got killed by the ai in helicopters 5 times in 20 minutes... Me and my friend have lost much as the keys to the aircraft and all of our personal belongings and other stuff... I think the server should reduce the ai capabilities in the air because it is getting out of control... I really like the server but I just don't even want to play it because it's soo frustrating!!!

DayZ is not fair in general. If you want to avoid AI then when you hear one get out of your vehicle and go prone. Easiest way to get them off your back when they are flying. The AI are tweaked just enough to make the game challenging to keep it interesting. If you are not patient and can't cope with losing gear then I'm afraid DayZ is not for you. Sorry but the truth hurts. I've lost countless vehicles loaded with gear and gold. You just have to start over and don't do anything crazy till you get a base up.

I am not able to play on the server atm, but I guess the AI difficulty is allright.
As this is a PvE Server, there is no challenge at all besides the zeds, which are not really hard to deal with, so without an AI, everyone would get bored very easily.
Helicopters are one reason, why you need to be cautious and aware of an existing danger at all times.
I dont know on which level you are playing, but I can understand, that the AI can be frustrating, especially if you are a new player.
The more time you spent on the server, the more you will get used to the AI and their behaviour and if you keep having problems, ask other players for assistance or some tips, Im sure they are happy to help.

You nailed it Dark. This server is meant to be challenging. This not a hand me everything so I can survive server. In some aspect due to the server load now it has become a little easier. Just take your time getting used to it and if you find yourself in a bad situation dont be afraid to ask for help. On BnB if you're a good guy many will be willing to help and even show you the ropes. Remember in DayZ if you're  living you're dying or soon will. That's  the game. Especially if you're around me.

As was stated you can easily lay down on ground and ai will buzz by and be done with it. If you are in an area and zombies spawn like crazy, well you are screwed as ai will want to see who spawned the zeds! I have ai heli's buzz my base all the time and as long as no zeds are around and they can't see me I'm ok. They will random shoot with like a 10% accuracy rating except the damn M107,,,,, tailgunner uses a sniper rifle I swear

They used to didn't they Travis? LOL Mongol and I lived on that barn. Not so much anymore, with the increase of population I am busy but love every minute of it.  Can't wait for you to get back Travis. "Hippi's Army" needs you
