Weird glitch

was just flying my MI-17 around the coast and was a couple of km out of krutoy cap when my blood completely diminished from full to about 5000, i bandaged and nothing happened, i ate , drank and took painkillers but nothing happened, then i died, i flew out of the heli and my heli crashed losing me about 3bc worth of stuff, anyone got any idea what went on?
To add to this when i respawned i saw 2 ai helis explode for no obvious reason, no ai bailed and when i investigated the wreck i found no bodies then i died because i am a dumb noob and walked to close to an exploding heli wreck  :P

You have some luck, Oreos. Sorry about your troubles, no clue on the glitch. I DO know you can't get too close to something on fire, It's gonna blow again and take you out. Seen it so many times. Done it a few myself in my Dayz youth ;)  Good luck.

Update: After speaking with a very knowledgeable source, it is possible that you went too far out to sea in radioactive land. That will kill you. Hope this helps :)

That reminds me of the time Sid his friend an i ran a heli landing @ green mountain... when we finally completed the mission, they brought their mtvrs in and filled them with loot. Then the heli started to jump around and blew.... killing all of us plus destroying the loot and their MTVRs XD

GZ1, that was really GG, our trucks had loads of gear filled in and I couldn't stop laughing. Lesson learnt I guess, stay away from vehicles that are bouncing!
