New Server IP

Well, it looks like the DayZ.st Chicago server took a dump, so they moved us to the L.A. server.

The new server IP is 192.31.185.209  port 3323

If you are using DayZ Commander, enter the numbers in the slots under the favorites category. Everything on the database should be there.

I can't find the server with DayZ commander using the IP and port you gave and even any server have beatnik bandit on it name. I can find the server ingame but when I join, it said "include file z\addons\dayz_code\system\ca\functions\init.sqf not found". Can you fix this ?

Close down steam and restart, make sure you have admin privileges. When you first launch ARMA OA, the multiplayer screen shows arma OA servers, cancel so the epoch mod loads. Then remote in with the ip and you should be good.

Verified.  Server is up and running at new IP. Database is intact. It might take a couple of times to log on to update all your files.

Also, once you get in you can join with commander regardless of it showing down or up.

Make sure you have all the numbers right, and you don't have commas for the periods. You should be able to access the server through Commander. The server name isn't going to show up on Commander or be searchable for a good while. You will have to enter the IP and port numbers in the appropriate boxes in the upper left corner of the DayZ Commander favorites screen, then click "add to favorites". The new address, instead of the server title, will show up in a line in the favorites section. Just click on that as you usually would to start the game. You will have to go to the favorite section each time to join.
If not you might have to do it the way Mongo posted, through Arma's built in launcher.

Also go into the Commander update/install and re-verify the arma, dayz and epoch files. People are getting in the server without problems, so it is working. Again it might take a couple false starts to get all the files in order with your client.

Having exact same problem gunner did. Im able to join the server but when loading up it gives me the "include file z\addons\dayz_code\system\ca\functions\init.sqf not found line.

For those of you having this problem what i did was update dayz in dayzcommander and then close it out an reopen.  Nothing else seemed to work until this.

Thats only 6-8 hours from me. That means Ill have a horrible connection now.....
Its really weird I get my best connections from england...go figure.
