hey i played a lot of A3 altis and miss the server and am trying to get into A2 Napf overpoch.not sure how to get into the game.
i got dayz launcher and am trying to figure this out.

an update i got in but im getting an error and cant play corepatch_cit_70371. can anyone help

Hi there!

We are running the 1.0.6.2. version so if that isn't what you have installed, go into Steam and do a legacy version rollback. If you can't figure this out, get back to me and I'll get you the step by step instructions. Or, if anyone reading this knows off the top of your head, please comment. It's been a while since I had to do it. I have a busy morning but will check back to see if you need further assistance. Sure hope to see you soon! BTW, what's your ingame name? Good luck!!

My in game name is arbiterofsorrow. ill try to do a legacy rollback but im not sure what that means i got the dayz launcher and everything last night. i googled my problem and its saying the file that is missing is part of a Corepatch file. the exact file its saying i dont have is for a recaliber fix for an rpk im not sure why its doing this.i got teamspeak is there any way i can hop into server to see if i can talk to someone and maybe try to brainstorm an ideal that way




p.s. my steam and everything else is the same name as the one on here.its frustrating ive been sitting here for the last eight hours tring to get this to work.

Ok. Have you verified integrity of game files through steam for Arma 2 AND Arma 2OA? Once you do this, missing files will be reloaded and corrupt files will be fixed when you load the game. Let me know.

ok so i verified and it fixed one file. now when i try to join it requests authentication and keeps retrying to get it until it says disconnect and try again.
i tried to log in again and got the same error. im not sure whats going on. tried to verify again and it sowed the same error so im reinstalling arma 2 OA.

I would re verify the files, do a complete shut down on your rig, give a few minutes and come all the way back up. Try this before doing a reinstall.

alright i re verified and restarted. im not sure if this is suppost to happen but it tells me that the addon sauerland requires chernarus every time i try to connect to your server.it shows the epoch loading screen 2 or 3 times with the loading bar then does the one with the requesting authentication.im still getting that error.cannot play or edit this mission because corepatch_cit_70371. ill post the other two errors im getting..but after the error im sent back to the screen where it shows disconnect or ok with the list of players and mission

The first error is no big deal, just say ok and continue.  Now, on the second one, can you say ok and proceed? I was watching on Admin Recon tool and it looked like you were all the way in game. You are getting close! Hang in there.

its the corepatch one messing me up im not sure how to fix it. after i click ok on the core patch it loads in then immeditatly after loading in brings me back to the menu where it shows theplayer list and disconnect.i canceled the auto join thing and it told me that i cant play because . chernarus was deleted or moved..........

ok so i let it load and do all the error messages and let it auto join me and im getting all i see is this.i see a map with a list of cities for a split second and then it puts me back into that screeen. do i need to load the Dayz mod with it too or no. im not currently loading it with it but am confused and getting discouraged. i wanted to get into the clasic Dayz epoch. ive never played it before all ive done is a3 exile.

You have DayZ, DayZ Epoch 1.0.6.2, and DayZ Overwatch all loaded and verified in DayZ Launcher, correct?

i have them all downloaded and verfied now but im not loadinng standard dayz when i load into the server im just loading epoch and overwatch

have you tried booting into A2 and A2OA separately without any mods to load the initial game files into your computer? also, you got a TS for the server? I can only join in for a couple minutes then I gotta run.

i dont have arma 2 installed i just have arma 2 OA and arma 2 dayz installed and no i dont have the TS info ihave ran them both as well without mods to get the files installed

I think you need both Arma 2 and Arma 2 OA installed in order to run DayZ. Arma 2 is the base game and Arma 2 OA is the expansion for it. Arma 2 has the Chenarus map on it, so that's probably why you're getting that error about sauerland.
