New Computer project

Some guys have heard me talk about building a new Computer because well this one is just about worn out. 



Had to order some custom cables because the new case is HUGE, and my current wires will not reach from the pedestal to the Mobo. 

New system specs.

Gigibyte z170 Gaming G1 motherboard
Intel I7 6700k
32gb's G.skill 3200 Mhz ram

My current 970ssc Video card is staying till October when it will get replaced with SLI 1070's.

Good looking rig Ed. I'm a big, big fan of Gigabyte hardware. Hippi and I don't OC so we stay with air-cooled to keep it simple. I built a mega-rig once, and the old system is holding up pretty decently despite its age. I do throw in an updated component now and then when the price gets right on them.

Well my custom cables with red white and black paracord mesh arrived today... But i got to spend the day in the hospital since i either rebroke my left humorous or tore ligament/muscle.

Thanks Hippi.  I am 100% sure it is a torn muscle since i took off the splint and i can move my arm around for the most part.  Just pain in some areas.

dang that was a real good deal, did u jump on those Edmond or did you already have them? From other reviews the set i bought just have small improvements on those and have an included virtual 7.1 surround sound usb/dac card. or whatever they calling it.  I think the sound quality is going to be nearly the same. That is what they were reporting. I wish, but with switching to a new job, bills and medical co-pays thanks to my arm, i had to hold off on all spending.  Sucks having to adult.
