Snap Pro for Epoch

This is a really big improvement on the regular snap. I've seen it on several servers without problems. Might be a consideration, people will love it, you can keep an item in place and walk around it to position it, before building it, etc. Makes building much easier.

Yeah I've seen it and its a possibility but unfortunately it adds another column of data ( tilt position) to the database that has to be parsed by the game engine and as such is one of the nastiest of the scripts. Epoch overall is really pushing the boundaries of the Arma2 engine as it never was intended to be played the way the Epoch mod is trying to do. It would indeed be a nice thing to have, but I tend to be stingy with server resources and try to allocate as much as possible towards the AI end of the program to keep them smart and alert.  I will say there is a possibility of some significant changes in the near future but I cant go into any more detail on that right now.

Thanks for the info Light. I've seen it before, there aren't too many mods for the server that I haven't checked out at least a little anyway. Snap Pro has been around a while now. I may yet give it a try in the future. I appreciate the advice.

I just wanted to add that the one I'm accustomed to didn't have tilt. I guess there's a more advanced one for that.
