Sorry that your having issues, Arma can be very weird when it comes to playing with mods.
_Edge made a extremely helpful guide on installing Arma 2, Arma 2 OA and all of the mods the Napf Overpoch server is running. If your still getting errors about missing addons i highly suggest you go over the guide and make sure you installed and ran everything correctly. I have never personally had the "No entry bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons" error come up on Arma 2. I have on Arma 3 and it never got in my way, i was able to click "Okay" and get past the error without any issues.

Yeah looking back at my link im not 100% what that is. Sorry to anyone that downloaded that, that was totally my fault. I edited my post so no one accidentally downloads it. Thanks Spline for pointing that out and letting me know.

If you updated and don't have a backup here is the 1.0.6.1 Epoch version on their GitHub (Was a broken Link SplineSpider has the link below!)

Last night i also had another issue with the towing system, I was towing a mission Sport Hatchback with my offroad that i bought and not even 10 seconds of towing it and the Hatchback locks in place and the rope snaps and i turn around to try and attach it back to my truck and before i even have time to turn around the Hatchback disappears, I did have mission gear in the Hatchback but it wasn't much so it didn't really bother me at the time. I thought i would just leave this here just in case someone else has a similar problem to mine. I have a clip of the Hatchback disappearing here https://youtu.be/UdUp6hh6NJI

I also had the same issue. in my case it was a mission offroad i was towing with another mission offroad, the one i was towing had the mission crate in the back. At first i thought maybe i was going to fast but after a while i found the truck i was towing was desyncing and that would cause the truck to fall behind and "snap" the rope. It didn't matter the speed even going 10kmh it would still snap. This issue was about 3 days ago and it was my first time towing. I will try to see if i can tow with the changes that were made.

One thing i can think of is if you have other programs open like Steam, Origin, Uplay or any other program that has to update regularly. They will usually have a pop-up to let you know about the update and if you have your game in fullscreen it will minimize your game. You could try some common fixes to this kind of stuff including verifying your game via Steam, changing your game to windowed mode and making sure you have all of your graphic drivers installed correctly and making sure that they are not corrupt (that seems to happen a lot to me and it creates a black screen every once and awhile).
Also do you have this problem in any other game(s) and if so do you have those games in fullscreen mode? lastly if you happen to be ingame before you try to fix it and it happens again try to go into your task manager and you should see "Arma 2 OA" and there should be a drop down bar and you should see another "Arma 2 OA" right click on that and click on "bring to front" if that doesn't work try "maximize".

Napf Overpoch / Demolition Derby 11/18/17

Hey all,
Today there was a demolition derby hosted at the AWOLS Airfield. We had a great track setup with ramps and obstacles, using the 350z sport cars.
There was a lot of overtaking and pit maneuvers used until cars got ran off the track and were totaled.
Overall it was a ton of fun we even had a after party and got to mess around with the cars and do some crazy stuff.
The winners of the event were:
1st Place - Krauser
2nd Place - Stillnyt3
3rd Place - Gunner
If you happened to miss the event here are some screenshots that players took.

I need to start paying more attention...Lol, yeah i think its supposed to be some sort of made up band or something. The other rocker skins have some interesting stuff on their clothing to.
