Chenarus Epoch Server / Apologies!

Hi all,

I hope everyone's doing well.

It's been about 6 months since I've played DayZ. My roommate however still plays every now and then, and as I understand it, yesterday he decided to log on to the Beatnik Epoch server on my computer to help himself to my goodies. As all my stuff despawned months ago, apparently he decided to be an asshole, and destroyed a bunch of player vehicles while completely ignoring the server rules. I guess I shouldn't be surprised since he is, in fact, an asshole, which I reminded him of when he told me he got me banned.

I don't expect to be unbanned, because it was my fault for letting him play on my account. However, I wanted to apologize to anyone who was affected by this. I have no clue what I still had in my backpack when I stopped playing, but if any of it can be used to help offset the cost of whatever he did, I hope the admins can disperse it to do so.

Again, I'm really sorry this happened, and I hope everyone is doing well in game as well as in life.

Chenarus Epoch Server / Requestion Authentication Timeout

Hey -- I'm seeing an issue where when I try to logon to the server, and on the Rupert loading screen it says Requesting Authentication, followed by Retrying to Authenticate. It repeats this several times and then finally says "You must be close to a rock to mine ore" and then kicks me back to the server selection screen. Any ideas?

I do have one in my toolbelt at all times, I just haven't seen the message spawns since we moved to the backup server. Is it possible I've got a local settings issue going on that would block it?

Is there anything we can do to re-enable the server mission spawn messages? It's getting old getting killed cause a red mission spawned on top of my head and not noticing until the bullets are going through your head.

I'm having the same issue. A lot of time when I try to log in, and then occasionally I'll crash with the same error.

I logged in this evening, and the entire first floor & most of the walls of my base are missing. Anyone know what's up?
