First i would like to thank all who participated in this weekend's first run of the new Vybor mission. I turned out to be tougher than I thought with nearly the whole server involved. This is exactly the kind of multi-player team effort I am shooting for with these missions, and was very pleased to see it happen.
Unfortunately, the missions are proving to be complex and buggy and I am afraid that I am not going to be able to let them run full time un-attended and likely will have to run then as a special team events. Also, to run them, I have to turn off one of the colored missions to keep from loading down the server as well.
I would however, like some suggestions of what the best schedule would be for everybody to run these things so that the most people are able to join in the fun. Right now, it seems that the most productive time is an hour or two after the noon EST reset on the weekends, but it seems any other time they just sit there and take up resources. Let me know when would be the best times to co-ordinate to do these missions if you guys would like to join in.
Thanks,
Sand

around 1 or 2pm est would be great on weekends :D

That seems to be the most popular time so far Joe. Its about the time the server is getting daylight after the noon est reset and when there is usually enough hardcore players on to take on the missions. I am also considering Friday night after the 6pm est reset as well if there is enough interest.
Another thing I would like some input on is the spawning order of the missions.

I wish I could suggest a set time. :(
Posting when it ends up happening each week would be good though!

The problem I'm having with scheduling, is making it so that there are enough players online at the time that are willing to do the mission. Also, it seems that the missions are pretty stressful, and a lot of players aren't inclined to do them back to back.
I know you all have heard this before, but to encourage team-play I have placed a significant amount of loot at these missions. Because of this, I've had to put in requirement for a minimum number of players be involved before the mission can be engaged. Right now the loot is calibrated for a team of 5 or more players but one of those 5 can be a dedicated lift pilot.
If the AI were as strong as an average player I would only have to place a half dozen or so to make the mission challenging. However, the AI are at their limits, and we have some players that know the AI's weaknesses well enough pick these missions apart almost solo. 10+ plus briefs is just too much loot for a team of one or two players.

Right now the plans are to run the black missions after 12:00 est reset on Sarutday and Sunday, and very likely on Friday night after the 6:00 pm est reset as well.
We can also run them on demand, but it would involve a quick server reset if done before a scheduled reset.

Those are perfect times on the weekends. Now that I'm close to finishing my new base I won't mind dying as much. Ahhh hell who am I kidding. I was dying when I was building. :o

I will see you there (once a month, unfortunately :-\)!
