Title: Host Issues Have Beatniks Down Temporarily

Hello Friends,

After reset this evening we started having issues from our Host which make it impossible to have the server running at this time.  We have a ticket in to the service department and hope to be up and running soon.  Just keep checking back from time to time and we will keep you informed as we get updates.  See you in the game soon!

Update:

 Server still down. Working on the issue folks. DayZ.st apparently is having problems with their database. Will let you know more as I find out.

OK DayZ.st is completely screwed. Database is shot. Good news is that I downloaded what seems to be a solid back up of the database on Fri. 1-17-15. The bad news is that a few days of progress will be lost. Looking at a host change and some other options.

so i am going to lose everything i have done and got(which is a lot) from the last 5 days?
and also is there a rough time when the server will be back?

Going to be using different host.  Changeover is going to take a couple of days or so.

Does that mean i get the stuff that glitched out and disappeared on Monday back? That also means i lose my safe though..

Hopefully it will be back up soon :)

EDIT: just remembered my house was only a floor and a doorway that day. Im not sure when I got my chopper from tmull and I love flying it so this may be worse for me than I previously thought. Gl in fixing it though, ik u guys r working hard.

Rollback to Friday ... blergh that's so much lost gameplay ... all those hours I spent running around NWAF to loot 2 BCs worth of guns ... gone. :(

Update: Ok folks we're making progress here. All the server files and scripts are being be built up from scratch. Also working with Vilayer to get the the database functioning properly on the new server. At least their tech support will answer emails. Server could be up as early as later this weekend depending on how the database issue goes.
